Minimum Qualification & Experience

Age: 40-50

Mode of Appointment :Contract for a term of three (03) years

Qualification:  

(i) PhD in any discipline from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and 

(ii) eight years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission or public sector organization. OR (i) MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and (ii) ten years post qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission or public sector organization. OR (i) Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and (ii) twelve years post qualifications teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission or public sector organization.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Candidates must apply online through the UoC website link: https://careers.uoc.edu.pk/ followed by submission of two (02) sets of dossiers alongwith duly signed online Application Form and original paid system generated Fee Challan. 

2. Candidates are also required to submit a detailed resume alongwith attested copies of CNIC, domicile, degrees, result cards, transcripts, experience certificates etc. 

3. Foreign Degree Holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC or IBCC, as the case may be, alongwith the Application Form. 

4. Applications must be accompanied by a processing fee of Rs. 5000/- paid in any branch of the Bank of Punjab (Non-refundable). 

5. Candidates already employed in any Government/Semi Government Department or Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by due date. 

6. All Government employees who intend to apply for the post through proper channel shall clarify through the Heads of the attached departments that there is no pending inquiry/outstanding dues against them. These conditions are necessary for the grant of departmental permission certificate/No Objection Certificate (NOC). 

7. Experience in Government service shall only be accepted if the certificate is issued by the concerned appointing authority/person authorized to do so. 

8. A candidate shall have to produce documentary evidence in support of his claimed experience for the determination of eligibility. 

9. Experience on Part-Time, Honorary, Apprentice, Internee, Visiting Faculty and Daily Wages appointment(s) shall not be considered/counted.

 10. Relaxation in upper age limit will be granted as per policy of the Government of Punjab. 

11. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. 

12. The University reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement, fill the position, withhold the appointment for the advertised position without assigning any reason. 

13. Interested candidates are required to submit the online application form till 16.05.2025 and post a duly signed hard copy of the online application form up to 20.05.2025 (through registered courier/post only) to the Office of the Registrar, University of Chakwal, Main Campus, Talagang Road, Chakwal during the office hours, that is, 04:00 PM. 

14. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date (even though posted before the last date) will not be entertained
